
Strategic Planning
Overview
Strategic planning can identify significant opportunities and help you avoid major pitfalls. The problem with most planning activities is they focus too far out (3-5 years), don't have concrete deliverables, and don't assign the right people to the right work. In our 9-step process, which we have used with thousands of business models since 1999, we take the guesswork out of the planning process and pride ourselves in how transformative a well-organized and executed planning session can have on an organization, regardless of size.

Although we can facilitate future planning sessions with clients, once you have been exposed to our process, you can do this internally in future years.
Our nine-step process includes the following:
(1) Determining where you are.
(2) Where you want to be.
(3) The distance between the two.
(4) Three to five goals for the next 12 months.
(5) Three to five strategies for each goal.
(6) Three to five actions to execute each strategy.
(7) Milestones and waypoints.
(8) Assignment of tasks including the 'who' and the 'when.' And finally
(9) Measure and manage. How to make sure you get on course and stay on course.
Only 10% of American businesses conduct a yearly planning session. Of that 10%, only 10% write it down with assigned tasks and goals. The success rate of those companies that plan, document, and assign tasks is in the top 3% of performing businesses. Facilitated planning sessions start as low as $2,500.00

Formats
Recording
Clients can record their sessions any way they want. They can have an administrator attend and take notes. They can record digitally either with a camera and/or an audio recorder. Or if done virtually, it can be recorded on Zoom, Teams, or any other platform that the client uses.
